Our Marketing Strategy team is looking for a Director, Product Marketing to grow our Home Monitoring business. Working directly with the home monitoring devices & services product teams, our sales channels, and the broader marketing team, you'll lead a small team that focuses on driving business results while thinking creatively about the future of our ecobee Smart Security business. Own the P&L within the Home Security business unit and, working cross-functionally, identify and execute opportunities to drive revenue, market share and profitability
Develop business plans and lead ROI analysis for new hardware or service components and lead the go-to-market strategy and support execution
Leverage knowledge of the economy, market, competitive landscape, customer, sales channel insights and best practices to deliver pricing, and positioning strategies, and inform home monitoring multi-year strategy and roadmap; As a key member of the home security leadership team, you will set quarterly objectives and key results, inform budget and long-range planning for the business line and lead and facilitate discussions with senior management on results, plans and strategy.
You have worked as a Director or Senior-level Product Marketer at a world-class company (regardless of its size)
You have interfaced with executive teams to gain alignment on strategic and operational business decisions
You have experience in most aspects of business including but not limited to sales, marketing, product development
Hands on experience leading GTM (go to market) planning, coordination and execution for new product and services launches as well as ongoing management of existing products and services
You are a generalist that can go deep - comfortable analyzing data, business casing opportunities, developing recommendations and gaining buy-in, and creating and communicating marketing strategies
