Bilingual Order Desk Representative:
Maintains and monitors account credit/debit charges relating to customer accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures. Prepares all associated documentation including special pricing, delivery arrangements and other order processing details. Processes purchase orders based on order requirements, works with Vendors in support of delivery requirements. Acts as inside support for a variety of internal contacts such as account managers, marketing, demand planning, distribution, warehouse, and finance staff. Please note this is a full-time opportunity.
Processes orders received via phone, email, ZNET and EDI and maintains appropriate back up and files.
Ensures appropriate customer order data relating to account information, item/quantities, distribution methods, payment modes and other delivery terms is entered to SAP. Prepares purchase orders in SAP according to sales order requirements, special pricing and sends to local vendors. Prepares master data load sheets, info records and source lists for procured products.
Works with factory and local vendor to maintain special pricing and customer delivery requirements. Considers local supplier delivery schedules to schedule inventory procurement. Prepares associated reports, and analysis as required. Works closely with Product Managers to ensure models are current and inventory is at satisfactory levels purchasing according to safety stock requirements as detailed.
Investigates any customer invoicing problems relating to pricing errors, price protection, customer rebates, spiffs, special pricing claims, short shipments, freight claims. Corrects any discrepancies in accordance with PCI pricing policies and procedures. Maintains and monitors account credit/debit charges relating to customer accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures. Enters pertinent account adjustments, including explanation of credit/debit request to facilitate approval by accounting. These duties may include, responding to, or forwarding incoming calls, receiving, entering, and confirming orders. Acts as inside support for a variety of internal contacts such as account managers, marketing, demand planning, distribution, warehouse, and finance staff. Supports internal account managers with enquiries by providing current and detailed customer information. Sources customer information details relating to account status, distribution status and any other sales related issues. High school graduation with 1-year related work experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Excel and SAP ECC order experience would be an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and identify potential solutions from an existing list of alternatives.
Requires knowledge of products, software, and accessories to assist customers with order placement.
Bilingualism is an asset.
