A growing consulting company is in need of a Mechanical EIT/Engineer to join them remotely.
Our client is a dynamic engineering consulting group, home to a diverse team of talented engineers across multiple disciplines. Since 2015, they’ve built a strong reputation delivering innovative solutions to the multi-residential, commercial, retail, institutional, and industrial sectors in Ontario. Now, they’re expanding into British Columbia, bringing their expertise in capital system and equipment replacements, retrofits, renovations, tenant fit-outs, and new construction projects to a new market.

As a Mechanical EIT/Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth in BC. This position blends strategic planning, client engagement, project delivery, and leadership. You’ll thrive if you’re passionate about enhancing mechanical building services, eager to tackle complex challenges, and equally motivated to deliver precise, detailed designs using AutoCAD. To excel in this role, you should bring three to five years of direct industry experience in mechanical building services, ideally with retrofit expertise. A diploma or degree in mechanical building services or engineering is required, and a P. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, along with familiarity with the National Building Code of Canada and the BC Building Code, will be essential. You should also have a solid understanding of ASHRAE and CSA/ULC standards. Success in this role will come from excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications. You will enjoy a competitive salary ($90K-$120K) with performance-based raises and bonuses, as well as a two-tiered profit-sharing plan that includes a pension.
