We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic People and Culture Administrator to cover maternity leave for a period of one year. The People and Culture Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR team and ensuring the smooth operation of all HR and administrative functions related to our valued employees.Responsibilities:Assist with day-to-day HR operations including but not limited to employee onboarding, offboarding, maintaining employee records, and managing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases.Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist with the recruitment process as needed.Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures and assist in resolving employee concerns in a timely and professional manner.Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating wages, and deductions, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee timesheets, attendance records, and payroll reports, using the organization’s payroll software or systems.Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, benefits administration, diversity and inclusion efforts, and employee feedback surveys.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices.Support year-end payroll processes, including T4 preparation, tax reporting, and other payroll-related tasks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.6 months to 1+ years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems preferred.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is considered an asset.To apply for the position of People and Culture Administrator (Maternity Leave Cover) at Deep Trekker, please submit your resume and a cover letter (optional) outlining your qualifications and experience.
