Our client, a renowned Health Care organization in Downtown Toronto, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of employees and support the organization's commitment to health and safety.
Downtown Toronto
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00A to 4:00P
Contract: 11 Weeks' To Start (with possibility for extension)

Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety department, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and organizing meetings and training sessions.
Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct data entry and maintain databases, tracking safety incidents, inspections, and training records.
Coordinate and schedule health and safety training sessions for employees, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.
Stay updated on health and safety regulations and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a health and safety or related field or experience working in a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
Education in Health and Safety or knowledge of health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
Must be able to comply with immunization and vaccination policies as set by the Hospital.
Relevant certifications or training in health and safety are desirable.
