*Canadian Citizenship RequiredPLEASE MAKE SURE ALL Dayforce/Ceridian experience is represented on resume otherwise you will not be considered.Hiring Profile SummaryThe primary role of a Technical Consultant (TC) is to participate in all stages of theDayforce implementation lifecycle for interfaces (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities.Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Dayforcesolution to meet documented customer requirements, setting, and managing customerexpectations, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project ManagerTCs will provide regular project updates, identify risks, and communicate issues to the ProjectManager. The TC will follow established SLA and timelines.ResponsibilitiesProvide consulting services to customers by gathering interface requirementsTranslate the customer requirements into technical requirementsDocument and validate the export requirements and map to Dayforce functionalityConfigure the Dayforce application to meet customer’s interface requirementsConduct consulting sessions and document with meeting minutesManage internal (Project Managers, Project Sponsors) and external (Clients andVendors) stakeholders to achieve interface file deliverablesMaintain project status on a weekly basisManage escalations and able to prioritize the workdayProvide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertiseBe a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external usersAbility to identify problems or find solutions to problems using technical documentsAbility to analyze export files and research the cause of the issue to determine course ofactionResponsible for the end-to-end management of delivering interface filesAbility to relay technical concepts to customers in clear and concise business languageWork closely with internal resource and customer contacts including IT staffContinually upgrade professional skills to ensure proficiency in Database andDevelopment technologiesManipulate, Convert, and transform customer data to Dayforce HCM specific formatsTest and verify in a manner that results in an efficient, high quality interface resultMust Have SkillsAt least 2 years Dayforce interface / integration experienceStrong knowledge of XML / XSD coding. Must be able to read and write XML structurebased on XML specifics for Dayforce and ClientsAdvanced expertise with Integration Studio and API/XML developmentRelational Database knowledgeIntermediate to Advanced SQL knowledgeAdvanced Microsoft Excel knowledgeData Transformation / Integration Practical Knowledge5+ years of experience in human capital management application consultingExperience in business process mappingExperience in change management an assetAbility to read and understand a technical specification from a vendorAbility to analyze vendor feedback and determine root cause and next stepsGood working knowledge of payroll contribution, benefits eligibility, and HR filesProficient in Microsoft Office productsExperience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experiencewith HRIS SystemsAbility to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manageprioritiesExcellent organization, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessionsEssential FunctionsProvide Implementation Services to CustomersConfigure the Dayforce application to meet customer’s documented businessrequirements.Conduct consulting sessions and document with meeting recap notes.Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and have afull understanding of the deliverables.Must possess analytical skills to be able to understand communicated requirements andtranslate those requirements into configuration with an understanding of mapping andtranslations related to the Dayforce tables and schema.Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas ofexpertise. Ensure client is held accountable for their deliverables.Create XML documents that will be used for the basis of the Integrations.Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users.
