Here’s What You’ll be Responsible for:Qualify, analyze, negotiate, and award sub-contracts for stipulated sum projects.Preparation of the major sub-trade tender documents for design build and construction management projects.Conduct subcontract pre-qualifications.Tender Call – Co-ordinating bidders, answering questions from bidders, requesting information from consultants, maintaining records of tender documents, issuing addenda and prepare bid opening documents.Point of contact with Client, Consultants and Sub-contractors during the tender processPresent Bid Analysis to Owners for construction management projects.Opening Sub-Contract Tenders in presence of Owner.Analyze, negotiate, and award sub-contracts.Preparation of contracts with sub-contractors for design-build, construction management and stipulated sum projects.Responsible for monitoring of Project Sub-Contract Amounts and compare to Original Budget Amounts and processing budget reallocations.Quantity Estimates of materials for comparison with sub-contractor Tender QuantitiesKeep track of Tender Package procurement on a weekly basis for projects.Assist estimating department with quote analysis at tender closing time.What You’ll Bring to the Team:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex issues.Analytical and strong problem-solving abilities.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks.Qualification Requirements:Engineering Degree (Civil/Construction) or Architectural Degree or technical college diploma in Construction Management or equivalent.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement role or related; preferably within the industry.Construction Estimating background is an asset.Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.Experience with Building Connected is an asset.Ability to prioritize and multitask.Proactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperationHere’s What You’ll Love: The opportunity to work with a growing company that works on diverse projects while using advanced software technologyCareer development and training tailored to youA work environment that cares about their employees and is inclusive and welcoming to allA hybrid work scheduleCompetitive benefit plan
