The responsibilities of the role also include:Providing the highest level of service while fielding Mortgage Broker inquiries and maintaining Broker relationships.Reviewing and assessing mortgage documentation (including appraisals) to support mortgage applications.Following up with Brokers on issued commitments to ensure smooth closings.Assisting the Managing Director in managing the mortgage portfolio, including mortgage renewals.Ensuring all documents are compliant with FSRA guidelines.Keeping up to date on market trends and industry developments.Completing Mortgage Agent and Private Lending courses as required by FSRA. About YouCompletion of a University degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or Real Estate.Mortgage Agent License (level 1 or 2).2-3 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably with a nonbank lender.Experience collaborating effectively with Mortgage Agents, Lawyers, Property Appraisers.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM software is an asset.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Highly motivated, demonstrating initiative.Strong analytical and financial skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Team oriented, courteous and professional.Effective presentation, communication (verbal, written), and interpersonal skills.Passionate about real estate.About the CompanyCanadian Mortgage Capital Corporation (CMCC) is on an exciting growth trajectory, with total assets under management currently representing $2.5 billion.
