ABOUT THE ROLE

Edwards group of companies seeks a motivated and organized individual to join our team as Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover). This role is ideal for an individual if you thrive in a performance-based environment. You should enjoy a balance of autonomy and collaboration and value being at the heart of ensuring the marketing initiatives stay on track and align with strategic business objectives. As the Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover), you'll take the lead on brand management, campaign execution, content creation, digital marketing, event coordination and supporting overall business growth, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director ahead of, and following, their leave to ensure a smooth transition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Execute marketing strategies to support brand awareness, lead generation, and business development across multiple industries (land management, tech, environment, renewables).
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials and communication channels.

Content & Digital Marketing

  • Oversee website updates, social media, email campaigns, and paid advertising.
  • Create and manage compelling content, including blog posts, case studies, and industry updates.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize marketing efforts accordingly.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work with leadership, sales, and external vendors, partners and clients to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with graphic designers, videographers, and content creators to execute campaigns effectively.

Event & Sponsorship Coordination

  • Support the planning and execution of industry events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop promotional materials and digital assets for key events.

PR & Communications

  • Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
  • Develop internal and external communication materials that align with company messaging.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing & communications preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience preferably in B2B, energy, environment or technology sectors.

Skills: 

  • Strong skills in content marketing, digital advertising, social media and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities in a fast-paced environment – agency experience an asset.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, Sprinklr, Mural, HubSpot, Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

PAY RANGE

The pay range for this role is CAD $65,000-$85,000 for the contracted term.
