It is also the largest dryer parts stocking supplier globally The company is expanding its successful in-office capital sales team and is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, results-driven salesperson to help maintain and expand its customer base throughout North America and globally. In this position, you will be a key contributor to the sales team's success.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the company’s parts and equipment along with their applications.
  • Promote parts and equipment to new and existing customers to boost sales.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with existing clients, while building relationships with new clients.
  • Build relationships with customers from the 'floor-level' to senior, corporate-level owners/managers to maximize business opportunities.
  • Create and present professionally developed proposals to clients accurately and timely.
  • Follow up on customer proposals promptly while maintaining quote/order tracking details.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites across North America (and other countries) to promote the company's parts and capital equipment offerings.
  • Arrange and conduct customer proposal presentations/meetings both in-person and online.
  • Provide exceptional customer support in all situations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create new marketing materials and update existing ones.
  • Attend occasional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.


Qualifications:

  • Proven successful experience in a technical sales role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and drawings.
  • Strong, customer-focused interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in developing high-level relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Comfortable interacting at all staff levels within the company, with customers, and with suppliers.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Drive to succeed and willingness to take on new challenges with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player, adaptable and innovative in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to the USA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Education & Experience:

  • An Engineering or Business degree/diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous outside technical sales experience in a similar field is required.
