The Position

This position is fully embedded in one global pharmaceutical company. The Digital Project Manager will play a crucial part in evolving medical affairs, enhancing customer engagement, and delivering meaningful, compelling, and trusted omnichannel medical experiences. Your responsibilities will involve managing digital projects and offering operational support to seamlessly transition these initiatives from conceptualization to reality.


Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams for planning, development, and implementation of digital capabilities and projects
  • Track project milestones and coordinate updates for digital medical initiatives within US Medical Affairs
  • Provide operational support for digital channels
  • Manage content review process and submissions in Veeva
  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal cross-functional partners, participating in cross-functional work sessions as needed
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned projects, meeting high standards, and staying within budget
  • Monitor and communicate project milestones and activities, promptly addressing any identified risks or issues to stakeholders
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, whether specific to the department or applicable beyond
  • Maintain the content repository and Google Drive for digital medical projects, ensuring key documents are well-organized and easily accessible
  • Assist with various digital medical processes as needed (status updates, content review coordination, etc.)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (life sciences, technology, management, or related disciplines) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., project management, digital execution, etc.)
  • Required experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry
  • Required experience in website execution


Knowledge and skills

  • Outstanding attention-to-detail, time management, and prioritization
  • Knowledge of relevant project management methodologies (both Agile and Waterfall)
  • Preferred experience in Veeva, Adobe, and Google Suite platforms
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
  • Strong customer orientation/focus and understanding of multiple customer needs
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills, including strong technical writing skills
  • Excellent partnering skills: works well within teams and is effective in collaborating with others internally and externally
  • Ability to handle pressure, short timelines, ambiguity, and change
  • Understanding of HCP scientific exchange initiatives and digital customer engagement
  • Understanding of process mapping and automation
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations impacting business practices
  • Preferred knowledge of medical terminology
