We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Supply Chain Analyst to join our Client's team. This role bridges the gap between data analysis and customer relationship management, requiring strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will translate complex supply chain data into actionable insights, while building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead weekly meetings with customer replenishment teams to discuss production and shipping issues.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure healthy inventory levels and resolve supply chain challenges.
Supply Chain Analysis:
- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics.
- Develop "get well" date reports for specific items, projecting when inventory levels will be restored.
Data Integration and Reporting:
- Extract data from customer systems and combine it with internal order tracking information.
- Create comprehensive reports that simplify complex data for various stakeholders.
- Present monthly performance reviews to customers, explaining metrics and proposing solutions.
Issue Resolution:
- Identify and resolve shipping-related problems in collaboration with internal teams.
- Prioritize orders based on customer needs and supply chain constraints.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage production for customer promotions and high-demand periods.
Process Improvement:
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize order fulfillment and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or customer-facing analytical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in customer-facing roles.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or chemical manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with supply chain KPIs and OTIF metrics.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Personal Qualities:
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
