Join our growing company and become a member of our tight-knit team of property managers Weigel Property Management is seeking a full-time Condominium Property Manager who will handle a diverse portfolio of residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with our clients, including handling regular operational, administrative, and maintenance activities, as well as financial management of all properties within the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee physical building management of all portfolio properties, including planning/monitoring repairs and maintenance, conducting proactive/regular building inspections, and negotiating building service contracts
- Timely and efficient management of all projects, emergencies, contracts and contractors
- Act as main point of contact with Board of Directors and attend to all administrative tasks, such as creating meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and creating follow-up documents/minutes
- Resolve residential issues on behalf of the Corporation and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure sound financial management of the portfolio, including managing capital and operating budgets, analyzing expenses, reviewing/following up on arrears, maintain working knowledge of Corporation’s investment plan. Ensure all compliances are adhered to (including Corporation’s rules, regulations, and by-laws), and maintain strong working knowledge of the Condominium Act of Ontario
Qualifications
- Valid General License from the CMRAO
- Several years of proven experience in condominium property management
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Strong ability to resolve conflict and effectively build and maintain positive client relationships
- Exceptional problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Computer literacy; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), email communication etc.
- A current valid driver's license and a vehicle is required
