Our Client

  • Is a publicly traded tech company providing IT and Cloud Solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Adhere to IFRS revenue recognition standards for customer invoicing in our product resale division
  • Ensure prompt processing of vendor invoices and adhere to payment terms
  • Verify and authorize balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accuracy with no unexplained discrepancies by month-end
  • Aid in various month-end closing tasks as necessary
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations, and Corporate Finance
  • Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants to promote a positive and collaborative work culture with defined roles and responsibilities
  • Support external audits, tax compliance, and special projects
  • Analyze and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics for continuous improvement
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, identify areas for enhancement, and implement process improvements for efficiency
  • Assume ownership and accountability for treasury-related functions such as financial institute management and cash flow forecasting
  • Manage financial and treasury operations to optimize liquidity, mitigate risks, and ensure accurate reporting


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field with a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA preferred) is a requirement
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting leadership roles
  • Proven track record in process improvement within a finance department
  • Experience in accounting/consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling along with adaptability with learning new applications
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, PowerBI, and Jet Reports is a plus
