Your New Role


As the Industrial Building Operator, you will have a background in property and facilities management, including experience overseeing safety, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Technical proficiency is essential, with hands-on experience in commercial building automation systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, and life safety systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance.


You are adept at coordinating with vendors and contractors for construction, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring projects are completed to standard. Strong skills in managing tenant relationships and providing prompt customer service are crucial.


Additionally, as the Industrial Building Operator you should have experience assisting with administrative and financial management, including accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation, invoice processing, and record-keeping.


What Sets You Apart


You have at least five (5) years of experience in overseeing retail, office or industrial building operations.


Your expertise should extend to various building operations systems, such as building automation, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, fire alarms, and life safety.


A driver’s licence and a clean driver's abstract are essential.
