Social Pinpoint is seeking a strategic, results-oriented marketing leader to drive demand generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement within the local government sector. This is a critical role in accelerating our growth and establishing Social Pinpoint as the go-to community engagement solution for public-sector agencies. Social Pinpoint currently offers two flagship products, Social Pinpoint and Consultation Manager, and maintains web presences for both.


Reporting directly to the North American Managing Director, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a small marketing team across North America and Australia, executing high-impact marketing initiatives, including webinars, content creation, social media management, website optimization, and demand generation campaigns. This role will also track and report on key marketing metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.


Key Responsibilities:


Corporate Marketing Strategy, Execution & Reporting:

  • Oversee global and regional (USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) marketing campaigns, including demand generation efforts, product launches, brand awareness initiatives, and lead nurturing activities to accelerate customer acquisition and retention
  • Develop a deep understanding of each region’s markets, customer personas, and key challenges to tailor marketing strategies effectively.
  • Ensure marketing efforts are adapted to the unique needs of SPP’s local markets.
  • Track, analyze and report on marketing metrics such as website traffic, inbound leads, event attendance, lead conversions, and campaign ROI.


Team Management & Leadership:

  • Daily management of a global team, with direct reports in the US, Canada and Australia.
  • Support the professional development and performance of the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.


Budget & Resource Management:

  • Manage the global marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across various marketing activities and regions.


Lead Generation & Demand Generation:

  • Direct global demand generation efforts, including digital advertising, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Optimize and update Social Pinpoint’s corporate and product websites to enhance lead generation, SEO, conversion rates, and customer engagement through continuous improvements in user experience (UX) and content.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals, including new customer acquisition and cross-sell opportunities.


Brand & Product Positioning:

  • Oversee global brand strategy, ensuring the company’s positioning, values, and message are communicated consistently across regions, while tailoring content and messaging to resonate with local market nuances and customer needs
  • Work with product marketing to refine product positioning and messaging to effectively target government clients in both ANZ and NA regions.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including social media and blog posts, case studies, white papers, and videos.


Customer Engagement & Retention:

  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure that marketing materials and campaigns address customer pain points, promoting retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Develop customer advocacy programs, leveraging existing government clients for testimonials and case studies.


Key Performance Indicators for this role include but are not limited to:


Demand Generation:

  • Increase in traffic to Corporate and Product websites
  • Pipeline influence and brand lift

Lead Generation:

  • Increase in number of MQLs
  • Webinar and/or Event attendance

Commercial Growth:

  • Revenue contributed from marketing sources
  • Net Dollar Retention (NDR)


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally in the SaaS industry or selling to public-sector clients.
  • Awareness or experience in marketing to the local government market, including understanding their procurement processes and challenges.
  • Proven expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, and content creation with a track record of driving measurable results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams.
  • Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to conferences, events, and customer meetings as needed.
