Transformative Marketing Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Data Strategist to join our team at Elevation Capital, a forward-thinking venture capital and private equity group. This key role is based in a high-growth CPG / beverage / dietary supplement company with a history of strong profitable growth as the number one product and brand in its emerging category.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic right-hand to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), responsible for developing and managing the marketing dashboard, ensuring seamless operations across all marketing functions, and providing data-driven insights that guide strategic decisions. This expert must thrive in a fast-paced environment, drive process improvements and efficiencies within the marketing organization, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of marketing data from various sources to provide actionable insights and drive decision-making.
  • Campaign Optimization: Implement and manage marketing technology platforms and tools to optimize campaign performance, track KPIs, and enhance ROI.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to streamline marketing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure scalability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of marketing operations and data analytics initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards on marketing performance, trends, and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate new marketing technologies and analytics tools to enhance data capabilities and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for the marketing team and ensure cost-effective solutions and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing operations and data analytics to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in CPG marketing, with at least 5 years in a data analytics role or similar experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset, understanding the competitive landscape and latest trends.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior strategic mindset and intellectual agility.
  • Strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of analytics and social reporting.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, projects, and strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, along with lucrative profit sharing and options across all businesses in our group. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role.
