Job Description:


UrbanPro is looking for a Janitorial & Maintenance Specialist to manage the cleanliness and maintenance of our property, ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to tenants. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning management, minor repairs, and maintenance duties, all while demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:


- Cleaning & Maintenance:

 - Ensure common areas (lobbies, hallways, shared spaces) are clean, well-maintained, and safe.

 - Perform regular cleaning of floors, windows, and surfaces, adhering to cleaning standards.

 - Handle garbage collection and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.

 - Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed.


- Repairs & Maintenance:

 - Perform minor repairs, and general upkeep.

 - Conduct routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and report issues.

 - Coordinate with external contractors for major repair work.


- Tenant Services:

 - Act as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns, providing concierge-style service.

 - Assist tenants with moving in and out, ensuring smooth transitions and positive experiences.

 - Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests and emergency situations.


- Inventory Management:

 - Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.



Qualifications:


- Experience:

 - Minimum of **2-3 years of experience** in janitorial, maintenance, or a similar role.

 - Strong experience in basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.


- Skills:

 - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

 - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently.

 - Great communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with tenants and contractors.

 - Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks and repairs, including lifting and carrying equipment.


- Other Qualifications:

 - High school diploma or equivalent.

 - Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.

 - Ability to be on-call for emergencies, when required.
