**Job Title:** Lawn Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Lawn Maintenance Specialist at J.R. Lawn Maintenance & Snow Removal Inc.

**Job Summary:** As a Lawn Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of lawns in various locations across urban areas. You will work outdoors, often in wet or damp conditions, and must be comfortable with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working in physically demanding environments.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their appearance and promote healthy growth.
  • Cut grass using specialized equipment to ensure even and precise cutting.
  • Rake and collect refuse from lawns and gardens, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove litter and garbage from designated areas to maintain cleanliness.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed to enhance lawn health and appearance.
  • Lay sod or seed to revitalize damaged lawns and create new, lush areas.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and beauty to landscapes.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote plant growth and overall lawn health.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens regularly to ensure optimal growth and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including rototillers, small engine equipment, sod cutters, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers/edgers.

**Requirements:** To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience and skills are essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.

**Work Environment:** As a Lawn Maintenance Specialist, you can expect to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain and cold temperatures. You will also be working on uneven terrain and may need to lift heavy objects.
