We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Publications team. This role is pivotal to the success of our client projects, acting as both an account manager and project manager. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality publications while maintaining strong relationships and driving project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand their needs and serve as their primary contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project management for multiple publication projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Proactively manage risks and address any issues that arise.
  • Publication Coordination: Work closely with medical writers, editors, and other team members to ensure that client deliverables, such as manuscripts, abstracts, and posters, are completed accurately and on time.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including medical writers, analysts, and consultants, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery of high-quality work.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track hours and expenses, and provide financial updates to clients as necessary.
  • Client Reporting: Provide clients with regular updates on project progress and ensure that expectations are aligned at every step.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables are in line with client expectations and company standards, performing quality checks where necessary.


Qualifications:

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in publications account management and/or project management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Communications, Business).


Skills:

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent client relationship-building skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and publications processes.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
  • Familiarity with publication planning and delivery, including compliance with Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines, ICMJE recommendations, and other relevant standards.
