We are currently looking for a Sr. Medical Writer - publications to join our team.


Role Overview:

As a Senior Medical Writer specializing in publications, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality scientific content for peer-reviewed journals, congress presentations, and other medical communication deliverables. This position requires a strong understanding of therapeutic areas, the ability to synthesize complex scientific data, and a commitment to providing "white glove" service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic scientific communication documents, including Scientific Communication Platforms, Scientific Communication Strategy, and Publication Plans.
  • Develop, edit, and review scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks for publication and presentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical managers, analysts, and consultants, to ensure accuracy and scientific integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Conduct literature reviews and research to support the development of publication materials.
  • Ensure compliance with industry guidelines (e.g., ICMJE, GPP) and client-specific requirements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior medical writers and associates.


Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical writing experience, with a focus on publications, and at least 3 years of experience in publication writing in an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one therapeutic area.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in referencing software (e.g., EndNote) and familiarity with publication management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
