Job Description: 

As a Mitrex & Cladify Senior A&D, you will drive business growth by expanding our market presence through North America and increasing product specification. You'll identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders in the architectural and construction industries, aiming to promote our products, generate new business opportunities, and contribute to overall revenue growth. This role is a growth position, transitioning into sales after expanding the pipeline to include account-type clients for Mitrex & Cladify. Central to this transition is strategically specifying our products into a wide range of projects at an accelerated rate. This approach will solidify our reputation as industry leaders, increase market share, and build strong stakeholder relationships, enhancing our credibility and positioning us as innovators in sustainable construction.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with architects, architectural firms, developers, and builders in Toronto and beyond, both in-person and remotely, to showcase Mitrex's and Cladify's innovative sustainable building envelope solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to generate leads, enhance our market presence, and meet ambitious specification targets.
  • Work closely with our team of engineers, architects, and construction professionals to understand emerging industry requirements and identify opportunities to integrate our solar-integrated building designs.
  • Educate and train architects, developers, and builders on the advantages and versatility of our products, demonstrating how they can meet unique project requirements and exceed industry standards.
  • Keep ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate Mitrex's and Cladify's value propositions.


 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated success in architectural specifications or business development, preferably within the exterior Building Industry.
  • Understanding of sustainable building envelope design principles and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, secure product specifications, and consistently exceed targets.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally to engage with architects, developers, and builders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and CAD.
