IT Consultant

**Bond Consulting Group** is looking to hire a part-time **Internal Technical Consultant** for a 3 month contract to start, with an opportunity for full time and advancement.

We are looking for a broad-based technology / IT generalist to:

- Review all of our systems
- our industry specific internally developed custom software systems, IT infrastructure, CRM, hosting, and office technology to form an audit on our systems.
- Assess the security of all systems, including the custom-built software and IT infrastructure, to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Evaluate the sustainability and maintainability cost of the systems, including code quality and architecture of custom-built software systems.
- Assess IT infrastructure for capacity, scalability, and performance to determine its suitability for our current and future business needs.
- Provide a comprehensive report detailing all findings and recommendations for improvement and optimization, ensuring our technology systems are secure, sustainable and cost-effective.
- Review all available documentation of our systems, including design documents, user manuals, and configuration guides.
- Recommend vendors for software development, configurations, hosting, maintenance and management

Qualifications:

- Advanced knowledge in the IT sector, including software, integration, encryption and security.
- Preferably a master’s degree in computer science or information technology
- 10+ years of relevant infrastructure technology, architecture, or engineering experience
- Experience in developing infrastructure technologies and architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent collaboration and people skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M9B 6K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
