Programmatic Manager

Summary
As a Manager, Programmatic, you are entrusted with the responsibility of employing and continuously defining cutting-edge techniques in the online marketing industry. Your deep understanding of digital technologies and a passion for leveraging data to inform creative problem solving will be invaluable in this role. Furthermore, your active listening skills will enable you to understand client needs and effectively translate them into well-defined campaign objectives. As a Manager, you report directly to the Associate Director, contributing to the overall success of our programmatic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Continuously learn and utilize Omni, in order to effectively leverage our people-based marketing platform to drive targeted audience activation, develop creative channel planning ideas, analyze digital content inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.
- Possess expertise in media and buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMPs, third-party ad servers, and manual exchanges. Understand client performance objectives and develop segmentation and optimization strategies to consistently exceed client expectations.
- Independently drive highly analytical and quantitatively driven techniques to continually surpass client performance expectations, allowing for an increased share of budgets for the Programmatic team.
- Set campaign strategies, including targeting, bidding, platforms, data usage, downstream client funnel optimization and utilize data and results to make compelling arguments for increased client data access.
- Take a hands-on approach in executing and managing day-to-day performance of client campaigns.
- Analyze campaign, ad server, impression, and user data to identify and capitalize on key performance drivers and uncover opportunities for account growth.
- Collaborate with the Product team to enhance the utility of existing trading-related technologies and define future industry-leading capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Programmatic Solutions teams, working together on a daily basis within regional account teams to deliver client strategy development, annual account plans, and marketing solutions.
- Work closely with agency account teams and brand clients to develop best-in-class solutions.
- Drive revenue growth and market share for Accuen through new client development and upselling existing clients.
- Communicate day-to-day performance metrics for formats, screens, and platforms to clients and agencies as needed.
Education
- Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operational research, Finance and Sciences degrees preferred. Master’s degree a plus
Skills
- Strong Analytical (Intermediate) and strategic thinking (Intermediate) abilities, with the capability to derive actionable insights from Data (Intermediate).
- Exceptional Communication (Intermediate) and interpersonal (Intermediate) skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.
- Proficiency in Media Planning (Intermediate) and buying tools and platforms (Intermediate) (Expert).
- Strong understanding of Project Management Methodologies (Intermediate) and process improvement techniques (Advanced) (Intermediate).
- Exceptional narrative (Intermediate) skills, demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories that engage the audience, convey complex ideas clearly in order to effectively detail a strategy, problem, solution or Initiative.

Experiences
- 2+ years of programmatic experience
- 2+ years in a management role
- Understanding of client/agency operations and finance processes.
- Knowledge of ad-serving platforms such as CM
- Experience working on Retail, Ecommerce or Technology Client
