About Us


At The Shidaa Foundation, we are working toward children's education in rural and vulnerable sectors; our services are extended in Ontario, and Ghana, West Africa. Different causes affect the education of a child; family structure & health, family income, the neighborhood, digital connectivity, infrastructure, availability of learning material and instructors, and most of all, people who could bridge the gap. Our goal is to tackle the determinants of education to eradicate learning poverty and advance educational opportunities. Join us in bringing the change, providing learning tools, developing libraries, and making education accessible.


Job Description


Duration:

35 hours per week for 8 weeks


Compensation:

$16.55/hr


Key Responsibilities:


1. Marketing:

- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement campaigns that raise awareness about educational initiatives in underprivileged communities.

- Utilize social media platforms to share success stories, engage with the audience, and promote educational events.

- Creating promotional materials to support fundraising and community outreach efforts.


2. Research:

- Conduct research on the social factors affecting education in underserved communities.

- Analyze data and provide insights to inform the organization's strategic decision

-making in addressing educational disparities.

- Compile reports on best practices and successful models in improving educational outcomes for marginalized groups.


3. Blog Writing:

- Develop engaging and informative blog content that highlights the challenges and successes of educational programs in less privileged communities.

- Interview beneficiaries, educators, and volunteers to create compelling narratives that showcase the impact of our initiatives.

- Optimize blog content for SEO to increase visibility and reach a broader audience.
