Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, developing and implementing our clients overall social media strategy, with the goal of increasing brand awareness, improving online presence and digital marketing efforts. This includes managing٫ creating and publishing original٫ high quality content and monitoring user engagement.This role also develops visual concepts to communicate information, including layouts, graphics and illustrations utilizing a brand’s logos and specific guidelines.

  • Committed to delivering high quality content and meeting project deadlines

  • Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  • Have experience in social media management and graphic design, building out decks, client relations, social media strategy and planning

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design original concepts for social media purposes
  • Research campaign ideas to elevate brand content
  • Execute content creation campaigns
  • Develop social media playbooks
  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels; Instagram + Tiktok
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Planable and Slack
  • Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms
  • Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Analyze competitor activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
  • Manage, motivate and coach junior staff
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
  • Encourage collaboration across teams and departments
  • Regularly liaise with clients via slack or email

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience growing, creating & managing social business channels
  • Proficient in adobe suites (Photoshop, Ilustrator, Indesign, Premiere Acrobat)
  • Experience with Social Media Schedulers
  • Marketing and IG/TT knowledge
  • Photography and video creation and editing experience
  • Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar
