We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and highly motivated (full-time) Director of Supply Chain at our Corporate Office located in Paradise, NL. You will join a team with varied backgrounds, a dedication to excellence, and the common goal of supporting and growing our industry leading business network.
Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain is the lead resource in the Supply Chain department and is accountable for every stage of the process including purchasing and distribution logistics, inventory management and supplier relations. They are responsible for developing and monitoring the overall supply chain strategy to increase productivity and efficiency to reduce costs and improve profitability of the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage the purchasing of products while maintaining adequate inventory levels.
- Manage all inbound and outbound activities of the distribution center including receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
- Manage the selection, pricing, margins and positioning of category products through effective supplier relations to ensure category and industry benchmarks are achieved
- Analyze and manage forecasts to maximize supply chain operations and identify potential opportunities and issues.
- Create and manage the merchandising review schedule, which includes listing and delisting decisions for specific categories while generating a well-balanced selection of core products.
- Manage and facilitate shelf management in the retail store network including inventory reduction plans.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships for current and new suppliers.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or working towards is considered an asset.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in data analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite.
