We aim for excellence in everything we do, and we’re looking for individuals who share that same drive, take pride in their work, and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment.Visit us at https://www.camindustrialsolutions.com/.Position Summary:The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple provinces, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. This position supports the Payroll Manager and acts as a key point of contact for site teams and employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The role is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.Key Responsibilities:Process full-cycle, multi-provincial payrolls on a weekly and bi-weekly basis with a high degree of accuracy.Balance and validate electronic timesheets, including adjustments, retroactive pay, and termination calculations.Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs), troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data integrity.Calculate, withhold, and remit garnishments and other statutory deductions as required.Verify tax and TD1 information, ensuring updates are processed in accordance with employee submissions and legislative changes.Serve as the primary payroll contact for multiple site locations across Canada, providing timely and professional support.Respond to employee and third-party inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and exceptional customer service standards.Collaborate with HR, accounting, and operations teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.Assist with audits, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function.Qualifications:3–5 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced payroll environment.Experience processing multi-province payrolls within a large organization.Proficiency with Dayforce payroll software preferred.Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Active or in-progress Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation considered an asset.Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet critical deadline.Equal Employment OpportunityCAM Industrial Solutions is an equal opportunity employer, and we thrive on our differences for the benefit of our employees, our customers, and our community.
