What we’ll love about you:

  • Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Working toward CRSP, CSO, or NCSO certification is preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive HSE experience in a manufacturing/construction environment
  • Understanding of applicable OH&S, environmental legislation and HSE processes
  • Basic comprehension of Return-to-Work programs and WSIB case management
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Attentive to details with the ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


What you’ll work on:

As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a fundamental role in the successful implementation and monitoring of Steelcon’s HSE policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives in our shops and in the field. Your role will encompass a broad range of activities from ensuring HSE compliance throughout the organization to the coordination and facilitation of training sessions.
