CSG is searching for a customer focused instructor to deliver engaging and high-quality Health & Safety training.

Reporting to the Director of Training, instructors are responsible for facilitating a wide range of courses in person to clients across Ontario. As the face of CSG you will ensure that courses are delivered with the highest quality and consistency every time. You thrive on engaging learners and have an innate ability to use your past experiences to reinforce the learning outcomes in courses.

The ability to travel is required for this position and based on client needs the flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and overnight travel is a must. A valid driver’s license is required as well as access to a reliable vehicle that can fit equipment.

What will you do in this role?
- Facilitate in-person training courses to audiences across different industries using adult learning principles and best practices
- Perform practical evaluations for courses where requires (i.e. mobile equipment)
- Ensure that administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including documentation, expense sheets, etc.
- Provide feedback to team members to ensure accurate and exceptional content delivery to clients
- Work closely with team members to best understand the needs of our clients

- Enjoyment of being in front of people
- A desire to continuously learn by asking questions, ongoing mentoring, and training
- Health and Safety certifications are desirable (i.e. JHSC, Train the Trainer programs, First Aid, etc.)
- Solid understanding and knowledge of legislation including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and various Regulations (i.e. Construction, Industrial, Mining, etc.)
- Experience in construction desirable
- Experience utilizing mobile equipment desirable
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office programs, DropBox, etc.
- Comfortable working at heights

**Job Types**: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
