The Social Media Coordinator owns content creation and publishing and is responsible for customer engagement on social media channels. The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Manager.

Areas of Responsibilities

Planning

Working with the Marketing Manager:

  • Develop and agree on a Social Media Content Plan for 6-8 weeks ahead of time, ensuring the plan is aligned to the Marketing Content Calendar and informed by Target Audience research.
  • Plan content production to create content types such as ‘Behind-the-Scenes’ content at photoshoots, outfit styling / informative content with store stylists, or sourcing of stock/vendor imagery
  • Regularly review and add to Social Media Content Plan

 

Content Creation

  • Working with the different teams and team members to organize time in advance to capture raw photographs and film footage, or where relevant, source stock/vendor imagery
  • Using industry-standard photographic/video editing/creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro and company Content Templates to finalize production of social media content
  • Implement the Andrews Brand Voice and guidelines to write copy for social media (e.g., content descriptions, taglines)
  • Using industry-standard newsletter management apps such as Klaviyo to construct, schedule, and publish newsletters and other related content via email
  • Ensure content is aligned to the Andrews visual branding and tone of voice, referring to the Branding and Marketing Coordinator for guidance and support.
  • Where required, coordinate with external companies/stakeholders to execute social media marketing campaigns

 

Publishing

  • Develop and implement a regular weekly content publishing schedule and publish content according to schedule
  • Following the Marketing Content Calendar, ensure that seasonally relevant and evergreen Product Collections are connected to Social Media channels
  • Implement and execute Public Relations strategies to develop the Andrews brand reputation and influence.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Ensure that customers’ comments and direct messages on Social Media channels are responded to in a timely manner (within 24 hours) and in the Andrews Brand Voice.

 

Performance Reporting

  • Using templates developed with the Marketing Manager, track and report performance of social media channels.
  • Adjust templates where necessary to follow updates and developments in processes and channels.

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools
  • Proficiency with mobile and industry-standard media creation tools (such as Unfold, VSCO, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, Unsplash) and digital media formats
  • Strong communication skills particularly with copywriting, editing, oral and verbal skills
  • Impeccable time management and robust ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality, independently as well as collaboratively in a variety of changing environments
  • A digital mindset and digitally literate skillset, with enthusiasm to use technology for productivity improvements
