Seeking an HR Administrator for a Government sector client. This is contract until the end of September with the possibility of extension.


Hybrid: 3 days onsite (at least Wednesdays), 2 days from home (usually Fridays)

Initially will be more full time onsite for training, then will move to Hybrid, approximately 2 weeks


Duties:

  • Offering administrative support to the HR team across various functional areas, including training and development, compensation, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and DEI.
  • Acting as the main HR contact for employees in all divisions and departments, addressing escalated questions and requests from the HR admin inbox and employees.
  • Serving as a resource for employees and management on policies, procedures, standards, and requirements, utilizing independent judgment, knowledge, and interpretation.
  • Gathering data through multiple methods, such as surveys and HRIS.
  • Using Tableau and/or PowerBI to analyze HR data and identify trends.
  • Developing, updating, editing, and contributing to HR reports.
  • Creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations to clearly present findings.
  • Coordinating logistics for training events, including liaising with facilitators, scheduling courses and events, tracking attendance, arranging catering, coordinating IT/AV needs, and addressing employee questions or concerns.
  • Drafting, editing, and reviewing documentation for all HR functions and taking meeting minutes as needed.


Requirements:

  • A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least five years of demonstrated experience in an HR Administrator role.
  • The ability to manage multiple demands while remaining highly adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities.
  • Experience in developing HR reports and supporting documentation.
  • Proven effective communication skills.
  • Good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority and exercising independent discretion to solve problems and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
