Summary/Objective

A Program Manager I oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple complex projects or programs within an organization. This mid-to-senior-level role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, ensuring that project goals align with business objectives, and delivering outcomes on time and within budget.

This is an existing vacancy.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner. Track outstanding gaps/risks.
  • Performance Monitoring: Improve our metrics program and weekly executive report
  • Team Leadership: Assist with Board and Audit Committee decks and internal InfoSec communications
  • Running the InfoSec training program
  • Completing the NIST assessment annually
  • Run and document/track the InfoSec Risk Committee monthly meetings
  • Program Planning and Strategy: Develop long-term plans and roadmaps for multiple projects or initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with stakeholders (both internal and external), providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources (teams, budgets, and tools) across projects to ensure efficiency and prioritization.


Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility.


Education and Experience

Position requires 5-7 years of project or program management experience.

A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required, with preference for candidates with PMP or other project management certifications.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.


Physical Demands

This position requires sitting or standing at a computer desk for extended periods of time. In addition, the employee must regularly bend, reach, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel

0% - 5% travel may be required.
