JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Sales Manager / Director to join an outdoor automotive retailer based in Calgary Alberta. The Sales Manager / Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and profitability for the company. This role will lead and manage the sales team and the CRM system to ensure the sales organization achieves its targets and provides exceptional service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop & implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives & sales targets.


• Manage HubSpot CRM tool to generate and convert leads into sales.


• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.


• Lead our team of Ambassadors, ensuring they are effectively representing the brand and driving sales.


• Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with key stakeholders and partners.


• Execute strategies and planning for events such as the Pacific Northwest, BCOR, and Toronto's Hunting and Fishing Outdoor Event.


• Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.


• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.


• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.


• Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.


• Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


• Director: Minimum of 7-10 years of successful experience in RV or Auto sales management


• Manager: Minimum of 3-5 years in RV or Auto sales, some sales management experience is essential.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in sales management softwares and CRM systems.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data.


• Ability to travel as needed.


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience with Shopify as a CRM

- Experience with Business Central as an ERP
