As the Account Manager in this role you will be responsible for making this a reality. This role requires a self-starting professional with experience and ability to make an impact on the e-waste business stream and support IT Asset Disposition sales efforts as required. This is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to create, manage & grow your own book of business.

The role will be somewhat unique within the organization as it will include multi facets of the Recovery discipline and will require creativity, cross functional interaction, territory adherence and discipline, along the eagerness to learn product specifications. Relationship building is a very high requirement for this role as is the willingness to learn.

This position reports to the Director of Sales, and will be based remotely in Alberta and work occasionally out of our Airdrie, AB office. Travel throughout Alberta is required to engage new and existing business clients.

Responsibilities:

· Assume responsibility for a book of local Accounts and grow their volume as per personal targets which includes hunting and the cross selling of other business lines

· Prepare quotations, bids, and estimates for customers.

· Engage with new and existing clients throughout Alberta.

· Arrange and attend round-ups and other hard-to-get collection events throughout Alberta.

· Manage relationships with local governing body along with support from Corporate office

· Become a known professional in the industry through professional interaction, expertise, and integrity.

· Execute a daily process with prospecting and pipeline management (with disciplined use of CRM) by actively connecting with individuals virtually or in-person as required

· Provide timely feedback to the team on the status of pipeline, sales and business development activities.

· Attend conference, industry & networking events

Key Attributes to be successful in this role include:

· Successful relationship building and establishing credibility quickly

· Strong sales background including follow up and closing skills

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years inside sales experience with a successful track record or 2 years as an account manager
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective team and organizational team member
  • Self-motivated and driven, with ability to work with minimal direction
  • Ability to change in a fast-paced environment
