About the Role:

As the Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager / Technical Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of our rolling stock assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations, performance standards, and contribute to optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage rolling stock maintenance teams to ensure high levels of availability and reliability.
  • Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Oversee the technical and operational performance of rolling stock, ensuring all systems are running at peak performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to manage and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Provide technical expertise in rolling stock systems, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for fleet performance and cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in rolling stock maintenance management or as a technical expert in the railway industry.
  • Strong understanding of rolling stock systems, diagnostics, and maintenance best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage large teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Canada and adapt to a new cultural and professional environment.
