NAM Regional Business Development Manager

Our client is a well-established leader in domestic transportation, forwarding and logistics services. Their commitment to innovation, customer service, and operational excellence has positioned them as a trusted supply chain partner for businesses across North America. To drive continued growth, they are seeking a NAM Regional Development Manager – Industrials, responsible for hunting new strategic customers, managing existing customer relationships, and acting as the primary lead for strategic customer business plans. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, the ability to navigate and mobilize internal resources and a demonstrated track record of new business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Hunt and close new strategic customers (i.e., new logos)
• Identify opportunities to create organic growth within existing/new business units
• Fully understand the logistics characteristics of the assigned market and act as an industry subject matter expert for the organization
• Identify the required internal resources to capitalize on value creation opportunities
• Act as the single point for selling all services and solutions across all business fields
• Drive the RFQ response for assigned strategic customers
• Conduct regular business review sessions with assigned strategic customers
Key Skills and Experience:
• Undergraduate degree in logistics or related business field
• Minimum 5-7 years of logistics sales experience (Industrials, mining, projects required)
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Self-disciplined with strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Creative ability in developing sales strategies and solutions
• Experience with logistics processes, systems, and solutions
• Experience working across multiple cultures and building relationships internationally
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required
