Heidelberg Materials is seeking a responsible, safe, and dependable Certified Crane Truck Operator to join our local team. As a Certified Crane Truck Operator you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

What You'll Get To Do
- To inspect, operate and maintain a crane truck Stiff Boom - 40 Tonnes and under
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Load, secure and unload concrete forming materials
- Deliver and pickup forming materials at customers jobsite in a safe and timely manner
- Calculate crane capacities and load weights prior to lifting
- Maintain current operator certification as required by WorkSafe BC
- General yard Duties requiring bending and lifting
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.
What We Are Looking For
- Certified Level A Stiff Boom Truck - 40 Tonnes and under Crane Operator
- Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
- Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of learning through on-the-job training
- Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
- In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain
- Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
