Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive with 8–10 years of proven sales success, especially in closing high-value deals, to join our Toronto office. In this role, you will own the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and prospecting to closing strategic deals and managing post-sale account renewals. We're looking for a seasoned professional who thrives in sales environments and has a demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and proactively engage with high-potential clients across diverse industries.
- Consultative Sales & Presentations: Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations that articulate the strategic benefits of Fifth Story's solutions.
- Closing High-Value Deals: Drive the sales process to completion by negotiating and finalizing complex, high-impact contracts.
- Advanced Account Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term, strategic client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention levels.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members, sharing best practices and strategic insights.
- CRM & Data-Driven Reporting: Maintain precise records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions using our CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8–10 years of demonstrated success in full-cycle sales, strongly emphasizing closing high-value deals and managing complex sales cycles.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets with evident, quantifiable achievements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills tailored to senior-level decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, pipeline management, and data-driven sales strategies.
- Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Experience within marketing, PR, or related industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
Location & Work Environment
- Hybrid/Toronto-based: Candidates should be in the Greater Toronto Area or willing to relocate.
- Occasional travel to client sites or industry events may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE Range: $90,000 – $110,000
- Uncapped Commission & Performance-Based Bonuses: High performers have significant earning potential.
