We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering & Operations to lead and scale our engineering and production teams in RF communication systems. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for aligning technical expertise with operational efficiency to ensure high-quality product delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing engineering and operations team.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure engineering processes meet quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001/AS9100).
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee production planning, project execution, inventory forecasting, and process improvements to support short-run manufacturing.
  • Strategic Planning: Align engineering and operations with company growth goals, setting clear performance metrics and accountability measures.
  • Process & Compliance Management: Ensure product certification and adherence to all required standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years in engineering, operations, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in high-tech manufacturing, with RF/microwave communications as an asset.
  • Proven track record in project management, production planning, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on leadership.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and aligning operational resources with business priorities.
