Our client in London is looking for a Health & Safety Manager for their organization in the transportation industry.

Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Coordinate truck permits, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle hiring paperwork, ensuring all new hires are properly onboarded and compliant.
  • Manage incident reports and work with the team to develop corrective actions and safety improvements.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs to ensure ongoing employee education in safety, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain safety standards and streamline operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Background in trucking and transportation is required.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Experience in managing permits, incident reports, and employee training programs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
