Corporate Paralegal

Clark Woods LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Paralegal to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Corporate Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate legal functions and maintaining the efficiency of our operations.
Duties
- Prepare and organize legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
- Conduct legal research using tools to support case preparation and compliance matters.
- Assist in the management of corporate records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry tasks related to case management and maintain organized electronic files.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with clients, witnesses, or experts as needed for various cases.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for various legal assignments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar administrative role within a corporate environment.
- 2-5 years of Paralegal experience.
- ALF experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
