Responsibilities:


  • Align technical roadmaps with business goals to develop a cohesive strategy spanning short, medium, and long-term objectives.
  • Foster transparent communication with business leaders, showcasing insights into market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute robust strategies to strengthen partnerships and external collaborations, enhancing technology platform capabilities and nurturing industry relationships.
  • Proactively identify synergistic opportunities, negotiate partnership terms, and leverage external expertise for innovation and market expansion.
  • Collaboratively define and refine the long-term technical vision and principles to accommodate evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  • Empower domain teams while ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Continuously assess technology stacks, identifying architectural gaps, performance bottlenecks, and resilience issues, and propose strategic, long-term solutions.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to ensure local decisions align with global architectural strategy, resolving disputes impartially for enterprise-wide benefit.
  • Conduct due diligence on emerging technologies, advocating for those aligned with business needs and architectural vision, anticipating integration challenges, and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Devise phased architectural evolution plans, considering business continuity and minimizing disruptions, while ensuring scalability and performance enhancement.
  • Provide formal and informal leadership, inspiring teams to deliver agreed-upon objectives, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Actively engage in hands-on technical tasks as needed, such as system architecture, coding, and deployment, to drive innovation and maintain technical credibility.



Requirements:

  • Experience in engineering leadership role in edtech
  • Visionary Technology Leadership: Ability to integrate technological advancements with business objectives, steering teams toward a harmonized strategic architecture.
  • Product Delivery Expertise: Proven track record in leading end-to-end design, development, and launch of scalable software products.
  • Startup Environment Experience: Demonstrated success in scaling up companies from a technology standpoint within dynamic startup environments.
  • Hands-On Technical Involvement: Dedication to engaging in various aspects of the product development lifecycle, including system architecture, coding, and deployment.
  • Cloud Computing Proficiency: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for building scalable and cost-efficient architectures.
  • AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with latest AI/ML technologies and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to guide pivotal decisions and foster collaboration across disciplines.
  • Effective Communication: Skillful at distilling complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Talent Development: Creates an environment conducive to talent recruitment, development, and innovation across the organization.
  • Broad IT Acumen: Comprehensive portfolio of IT expertise spanning network architecture, data engineering, cybersecurity, and software development.
