Profile: Our client is a distributor of electrical and electronic cable and wires and is looking for an inside account manager on the south shore of Montreal to sell and manage existing and new accounts. You will be speaking both manufacturers, distributors and suppliers and managing customer accounts. You will be accountable for growing the base, managing the relationship, and seeking out new customers. Territory: Quebec and Ontario

Workplace: South Shore of Montreal (at office 4 days + 1 day on the road)

Products/Services: cable and wires

Salary: Base $50,000-$55,000

Commissions/Bonus: $35,000 at 100% of objectives + uncapped commissions

Car allowance: $/km when you have to go out

Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

  • 50% of what you do will be supporting the existing customers by processing orders and answering technical questions. Coordinate with other departments.
  • 20% will be finding new opportunities to sell by doing research and reaching out to prospects. Provide pricing quotes and follow up on them
  • 20% will be spent meeting customers face to face to find out their business needs and updating the CRM
  • 10% will be spent staying informed on product trends, pricing and promoting new products


Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance:75% developing existing accounts and 25% selling to new accounts

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: French and English (bilingual)

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years of experience: At least 2 years of experience required
