Digital Marketing Specialist, DENTAL

*This is an on-site role working in downtown Calgary.


Join a leading dental solutions company that is passionate about client’s smiles… hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join their marketing team working onsite at their downtown office. Our client has been a leader in their dental specialty for 50 years with 12 locations across Canada.


In this highly creative role, you will design and execute data-driven impactful digital marketing campaigns that drive ROI and business growth and that align with stakeholders' goals and resonate with the dental industry. You will curate engaging content for social media platforms and assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content working on digital marketing projects, brand strategy, and maintaining a unified brand voice across social media channels including lnstagram, Facebook, Linkedln, and YouTube all aimed at increasing web traffic and brand awareness.


Attendance at industry specific education and networking events will allow you to produce social media content and promote products, services, and the brand throughout the dental community. Experience with short form organic video production and content creation is required; crafting short-form, compelling, and visually appealing video content tailored to their unique brand story. Analyzing digital marketing activities is also important, so using performance and engagement tracking analytics tools within social platforms to track performance and provide insights for continuous improvement is a critical part of this role. You will navigate content management platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Meta, and the Google business platforms (YouTube, AdWords, and Analytics) to evaluate the success of paid media. A big part of this role is the daily generation of posts, content, and interaction with the online network - liking, reposting, tagging, and responding to messages.With ongoing review and analysis of social media metrics including overall engagement - number of followers, comments, likes, reposts etc. you will determine what’s working or not, and adjust.


Working as an integral member of the Marketing team, you will help with graphic design projects as needed, so familiarity with Adobe suite is required and any other working knowledge of graphic design/content generation platforms (Adobe Photoshop/premiere), CapCut, Canva is ideal, along with email content management and familiarity with Constant Contact (or a similar email marketing platform) is a huge benefit.


Qualified candidates possess post-secondary education with a Marketing specialty and 3-5 years experience in a similar role (dental industry experience/knowledge preferred) with hands-on experience using social media to promote brand awareness, a solid understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics, and an ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them. Familiarity with photography, web design and publishing required.
