Where And How You Can Work

This role will be based in either London, Vancouver or New York (in office with one of the founders). We value having the team together but will work out a viable solution for everyone in the team.

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

As our CFO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health and strategy of our global business. We’re a fast-moving, dynamic company, and this role will evolve as we grow. What You'll Do

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage global treasury and cash flow, optimizing liquidity, managing risk, and ensuring that the company’s financial resources are effectively utilized to support growth.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support business objectives, including profitability, cost management, and expansion.
  • Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to support business development and funding opportunities.
  • Oversee compliance with global financial regulations and manage risks related to international operations.
  • Drive financial outcomes:

-Increase profitability and support sustainable growth initiatives.

-Ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency to the board and key stakeholders.

-Lead initiatives to optimize cash flow, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.

-Partner with other executives to guide company expansion, both geographically and in service offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in high-growth or global companies.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a track record of successful financial leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse, global finance team.
  • Deep understanding of financial management, including tax, compliance, risk management, and international financial regulations.
  • Experience with fundraising, mergers, and acquisitions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and external partners.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimising financial technologies (e.g., ERP systems) to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and support scalability in a high-growth environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a mindset focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
