Position summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Lifestyle Merchandiser to join our dynamic merchandising team. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the strategic curation of product assortments that align with our brand’s identity and resonate with our customers, guiding a team to drive product innovation. The ideal candidate will be a trendsetter with a deep understanding of fashion, culture, and consumer behavior, and will possess a proven track record in developing product collections that elevate the brand's lifestyle image. This role requires a strong blend of creative vision, strategic insight, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
A day in the life:
- Product Selection & Assortment Planning: Lead the development of product collections that reflect the brand’s lifestyle image, ensuring a well-rounded assortment that meets and anticipates customer needs. Oversee a team to curate collections that span from everyday essentials to high-impact standout pieces, while driving a strategy that maximizes sales, profit, and brand positioning.
- Customer Insight & Market Research: Spearhead the analysis of customer data, sales trends, and competitor activities. Direct the development of actionable insights that inform product range adjustments and sales optimization strategies. Provide leadership in understanding consumer preferences and behaviors, and ensure that insights are shared across departments to drive cohesive strategies.
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Guide the trend forecasting process by researching emerging fashion trends, social movements, and cultural shifts that impact our target audience. Lead the presentation of trend forecasts that align with the brand's lifestyle, ensuring the product assortment remains on the cutting edge of style and relevance.
- Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Work closely with design, buying, and trend teams to develop and align on collection development. Ensure that product offerings across all channels are cohesive, balanced, and strategically positioned to meet customer demands and business objectives.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Take ownership of the merchandising strategy and oversee its execution across multiple product categories. Work with senior leadership to set long-term goals, budgets, and KPIs, while adapting to market trends and customer needs. Drive initiatives that enhance product mix, increase market share, and support business growth.
What you bring to the team:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred). A minimum of 7+ years of experience in fashion merchandising or a related senior role within the fashion industry.
Leadership & Team Development: Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of merchandisers and collaborating with cross-functional departments. Strong ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving strategic goals.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Expertise in trend forecasting, market analysis, and understanding consumer behavior.
Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions across various stakeholders, including design, buying, and senior leadership.
Creative Vision & Fashion Passion: A keen eye for fashion trends, combined with a deep passion for the fashion industry and the ability to translate cultural movements into compelling product offerings.Organizational & Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in Photoshop. Knowledge of merchandising / e-commerce and planning software is a plus

Une journée type :
- Sélection de produits et planification de l'assortiment : Diriger le développement de collections reflétant l’image lifestyle de la marque, en veillant à proposer un assortiment équilibré répondant et anticipant les besoins des clients. Superviser une équipe pour élaborer des collections allant des essentiels du quotidien aux pièces marquantes, tout en développant une stratégie visant à maximiser les ventes, les profits et le positionnement de la marque.
- Aperçu du client et étude de marché : Diriger l’analyse des données clients, des tendances de vente et des activités des concurrents. Élaborer des recommandations concrètes pour ajuster les gammes de produits et optimiser les stratégies de vente. Fournir un leadership dans la compréhension des préférences et comportements des consommateurs, en partageant ces informations avec les départements concernés pour une stratégie cohérente.
- Analyse des tendances et prévisions : Piloter le processus de prévision des tendances en recherchant les évolutions de la mode, les mouvements sociaux et les changements culturels qui impactent notre public cible. Présenter des prévisions alignées sur le lifestyle de la marque, garantissant ainsi un assortiment de produits à la pointe de la mode et de la pertinence.
- Gestion des ressources et Travail d'équipe interfonctionnel : Diriger et encadrer une équipe de merchandisers, en favorisant un environnement collaboratif et performant. Travailler étroitement avec les équipes design, achat et tendances pour développer et aligner les collections. S’assurer que les offres de produits sur tous les canaux soient cohérentes, équilibrées et stratégiquement positionnées pour répondre aux demandes des clients et aux objectifs de l’entreprise.
- Planification Stratégique & Exécution :: Assumer la responsabilité de la stratégie de merchandising et superviser son exécution à travers plusieurs catégories de produits. Collaborer avec la direction pour définir des objectifs à long terme, des budgets et des indicateurs de performance (KPIs), tout en s’adaptant aux tendances du marché et aux besoins des clients. Stimuler les initiatives visant à améliorer le mix produits, augmenter les parts de marché et soutenir la croissance de l’entreprise.
Ce que vous apportez à l’équipe:
- Formation & Expérience : Diplôme en Merchandising de Mode, Commerce ou dans un domaine connexe (un Master est un plus). Minimum 7 ans d’expérience dans le merchandising de mode ou dans un rôle senior similaire au sein de l’industrie de la mode.
- Leadership & Développement d'Équipe : Expérience avérée dans la direction et le mentorat d’une équipe de merchandisers et la collaboration avec des départements interfonctionnels. Forte capacité à inspirer et guider une équipe vers l’atteinte des objectifs stratégiques.
- Pensée Stratégique & Analytique : Compétences analytiques exceptionnelles avec la capacité d’interpréter des données complexes et de les traduire en stratégies concrètes. Expertise en prévision des tendances, analyse de marché et compréhension du comportement des consommateurs.
- Communication & Négociation : Excellentes compétences en communication et en négociation, avec la capacité d’influencer et de conduire des décisions auprès de divers interlocuteurs, y compris les équipes design, achat et direction.
- Vision Créative & Passion pour la Mode : Un œil aiguisé pour les tendances de la mode, combiné à une passion profonde pour l’industrie et à la capacité de traduire les mouvements culturels en offres produits convaincantes.
- Organisation & Gestion du Temps : Solides compétences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps, avec la capacité de gérer plusieurs priorités et échéances dans un environnement dynamique et exigeant.
- Maîtrise Technique : Expertise de la Suite Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) et maîtrise de Photoshop. Une connaissance des logiciels de merchandising et de planification est un plus.
