Overview

As a member of the Computronix Product team, you will work in a highly dynamic, energetic, fast-changing, and fluid work environment. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality through the execution of test scripts on assigned software products determining and tracking errors and bugs to ensure a quality end-user product.

As a Quality Assurance Tester at Computronix, you will:

  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
  • Document software defects, using a bug-tracking system, and report defects to software developers and project managers.
  • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, expected results, online screen, or requirements.
  • Monitor and validate bug resolution efforts.
  • Cross-test in adevelopment environment, working with Developers to validate issues.
  • Validate bug fixes.
  • Summarize testing progress.
  • Communicate testing progress and results to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in completingtest closure reporting.

You are perfect for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or a related field and a minimum of 2+ years of software testing experience
  • Possess a thorough understanding of testing techniques and methods:
    • Functional, Regression, Usability, Performance, System testing, Compatibility, and Smoke testing.
  • Nice to have experience with accessibility testing
  • Work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Work under general supervision; demonstrate initiative and good judgment; work well both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Good communication skills and being part of a collaborative team.
