Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Provide expert business analysis support across multiple HHB projects, collaborating with Project Managers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Gain deep understanding of project workstreams to assist in current state analysis and future-state design/development.
  • Analyze business rules, processes, and functional requirements to document, communicate, and validate information with stakeholders.
  • Define business workflows, data flows, roles, responsibilities, and key decisions for project success.
  • Implement tools and templates for requirements management, system specifications, testing, and change control processes.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, defining functional and non-functional specifications.


Expected Deliverables:

  • Project Vision Document
  • Requirements Management Plan
  • User Stories, Use Cases, and Test Cases
  • Business Requirements Document (BRD)
  • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Functional and Non-Functional Specifications
  • System Requirements Document (SRD)


Additional duties include:

  • Create acceptance criteria and test plans for product, performance, and operational testing.
  • Facilitate group and one-on-one workshops.
  • Contribute to project planning sessions.
  • Provide timely and accurate insights to support decision-making.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Program Managers, Architects, Cybersecurity Leads, and Change Managers.
  • Assist in RFP and SOW creation and evaluation.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in requirements gathering, testing, and supporting business analysis activities.
  • Strong skills in facilitating requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, and workflow analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and meet multiple project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience mapping complex processes, analyzing data, and recommending solutions.
  • Experience developing and implementing continuous business process improvements.
  • Adaptability to learn and understand new industries and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government or crown corporation projects.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification.
