High School Mathematics Teacher
Contract Dates: January 27, 2025 to June 27, 2025
Status: One (1) Replacement Position
Description: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a High School Mathematics Teacher.
Teaching Workload: 100.00%
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and lead learning and assessment opportunities that are in line with Ministry of Education programs and the School's educational plan.
- Promote and implement the School's educational objectives, policies and regulations.
- Participate in general assemblies, department meetings and parent-teacher meetings scheduled in the pedagogical calendar.
- Partake and contribute to the co-curricular program and commit to the School's faculty growth and development plan.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives, ensuring all students feel valued and empowered to express their ideas.
Skills, Experience and Attributes Required:
- Bachelor’s of Education - Secondary Mathematics.
- Brevet or qualifying Master’s degree in progress.
- Experience in secondary education (private or public) desired.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Ability to create innovative and authentic teaching materials.
- Bilingualism (asset).

Description : Nous recherchons une personne dévouée et dynamique pour joindre notre équipe en tant qu’enseignant(e) de mathématiques au secondaire.
Tâche éducative : 100,00 %
Responsabilités :
- Planifier, développer et piloter des situations d’apprentissage et d’évaluation selon les programmes du ministère de l’Éducation et le projet éducatif de l’École ;
- Promouvoir et appliquer les objectifs, les politiques et les règlements de l’École en matière d’éducation ;
- Participer aux assemblées générales, aux réunions de département et aux réunions parents-enseignants.es prévues au calendrier pédagogique ;
- S’engager dans le programme périscolaire et s’impliquer vivement au plan de croissance et perfectionnement du corps professoral de l’École ;
- Favoriser un environnement de classe positif et inclusif qui encourage la participation et le respect des différentes perspectives, permettant à tous les élèves de se sentir valorisés et d'exprimer leurs idées.
Compétences, expérience et formation requises :
- Baccalauréat en enseignement au secondaire – mathématiques ;
- Brevet ou maîtrise qualifiante en cours ;
- Expérience souhaitée dans l'enseignement secondaire (privé ou public) ;
- Capacité de bâtir du matériel pédagogique innovant et authentique ;
- Connaissance de pratique différenciée ;
- Excellentes habiletés orales et écrites en anglais ;
- Bilinguisme (un atout).
